What
is a bush or shrub? A bush is defined as a low
shrub with many branches. A shrub is defined as a woody plant
of relatively low height, having several stems arising from
the base and lacking a single trunk.
Bushes
and shrubs do not have a single trunk, thus the distinction
from trees. Bushes and shrubs may may have flowers and possibly
fruit. Most bushes and shrubs will have a mature height of
less than 15 feet, considerably shorter than most trees.
